Il a remporté à New York le prix du « plus beau design d'intérieur " dans la catégorie " Sports & leisure " du Magazine Contract Design en 2014. Le projet est une collaboration entre l’architecte polonais Przemyslaw ‘Mac’ Stopa de l’entreprise Massive Design.

It was built in 2010, in Cuiabá, a city with a population of only 554,000 and hence the smallest playing venue. The stadium can accommodate almost 43,000 people but the modular structure allows for the upper parts to be dismantled such that the capacity will eventually be smaller.
